This is a major component in the ongoing renewal of the city. Through this project, we create a building that blends in with the surrounding environment as well as changing and improving the street scape.
The transformation of the property is radical; from having been a conventional 60’s building, the façade gains new life through an interesting and beautiful combination of glass, wood and stone.
The façade is divided into three parts, each given a specific type of material. One part of the building is clad in dark red granite, the middle part of the façade is covered in golden metal and glass cladding. The northern part of the house will be a residential area with a wooden façade.
This new and contemporary design greatly improves the surrounding environment. Unique for this project is the roof-top park and bar, built of wood, providing a calm place in the centre of the city.
